I live in New York, and the summers are nothing short of fabulous. If this is the city that never sleeps, then during the summertime, New York has insomnia because there is so much to do. From live outdoor concerts in the park, to street festivals, rooftop parties, or going to the beach to lie out in the sun, dying of boredom isn’t an option.
The summertime weather in New York can vary. The temperature is always hot, but sometimes it can get so humid and muggy to the point that it can be downright excruciating.
Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying outdoor activities, or just trying to get through the day, the heat can quickly become unbearable.

Fortunately, there are several ways to stay cool, comfortable, and safe during the sweltering summer months. Read on for some suggestions on how to beat the heat and keep cool throughout the summer season:
